Gay relationships taught to kids in Massachusetts schools

Okay, maybe there is a VERY religious undertone to this video, but gay marriage is a belief that many don't subscribe to.

Why are kids in Massachusetts schools being sent home with books explaining about gay relationships when it should be up to parents to decide if and when they want their kids to learn about them?

Isn't there another way for the gay and lesbian community to get the rights they want without infringing on many other people's rights of belief?
